This one has an interesting history. Years ago, Microsoft released a music generator program. It only generated MIDI, of course, and it did so mathematically. As they said in those days, "A computer can generate a thousand songs in a second, but it can never tell which one it likes best."

Most of what it produced was worse than AI slop ever was; "unlistenable" would be an accurate description of a good deal of it. And none of it was any exception, not even the piece I named Golden Autumn Sun for no adequately explored reason.

So when I started working with A.I. music generation, just for fun I threw it at Suno and asked for a "classical, pop symphonic arrangement." It came up with this on the FIRST TRY. And yet, in this new era, that's all I have to do to get composer credit!

(By the way: computers still can't tell you which song is best. Yet.)
